Sales Training Results
Obtaining first hand evidence of sales training effectiveness is challenging and expensive.
Most trainers and training companies obtain immediate feedback after a training event by means of a form given out to participants. This observations collected represent opinion.
Some companies test learning by conducting post course exams, tests, or questionnaires. This provides some indication of training effectiveness.
The third level of investigation is to determine if the training led to any positive behavioural changes.
The most valuable feedback comes from determining monetary returns from training. Hard evidence is difficult to obtain because any study must exclude for a wide range of variables. In addition, comparisons rely on the accuracy of previous record keeping.
On this site, we have begun a collection of the research and anecdotal evidence relating to sales training outcomes and the return on sales training investments.
In addition, we will use this site to present those aspects of SalesSense services that help groups and individuals improve or develop best practice professional selling methods and sales training techniques.
We welcome input from other training organisations and will publish validated submissions from third parties, including those from other sales training companies.
